Undeniably, 2025 has been an exciting year of momentum-building at Eaton. From powering AI to reimagining how to optimally address everchanging market requirements, we’ve never taken our foot off the pedal in our pledge to drive partner growth. And you can rest assured, we will continue to accelerate this commitment throughout 2026 ― and beyond.
Steve Loeb is the Vice President of Distributed Infrastructure Marketing at Eaton, where he focuses on supporting channel partners and navigating opportunities in data centers and distributed IT environments.
Without question, Gen AI and agentic AI moving from experimentation to full-scale enterprise deployment represented one of the most significant developments of the year. As these technologies became increasingly embedded in workflows, customer experiences and analytics operations, Eaton worked to ensure that our partners could identify and deliver the critical infrastructure components needed to support the increasing power densities and uptime requirements of these applications.
To begin with, we invested in product and engineering resources to enable faster development cycles and more agility in our product innovation. To meet the needs of our rapidly evolving market and fill gaps outside of what would typically be considered Eaton’s core competencies, we took input from our partners and galvanized that feedback with our expertise to create new physical infrastructure offerings. This resulted in the introduction of fully integrated rack, power and cooling solutions, as well as modular products designed to accommodate AI workloads, from data centers to edge deployments. Even more, Eaton’s recent acquisition of Boyd Thermal has expanded our existing data center portfolio by adding critical liquid cooling technology.
But it wasn’t just products that we focused on in 2025; to develop and engineer the solutions that our partners rely on to generate growth opportunities, it was essential to also have the right people in the right places. To that end, Eaton added more than 30 employees to the distributed IT division, including the creation of a team dedicated exclusively to white space applications. This new group is devoted to expanding Eaton’s product portfolio, enhancing strategic partnerships and making the investments that will best position our channel partners to grow their business in the white space.
Other personnel changes occurred at the executive level. After spending many years leading Eaton's sales strategy, this past year I took the reins as vice president of marketing, in part to help ensure a smooth leadership transition amid the retirement of a 20-year industry veteran within this division. Additionally, Eaton welcomed Linsey Miller as the division’s new senior vice president and general manager. Bringing a wealth of experience in newer markets and technologies, Linsey is integral to our continuing to solidify Eaton’s core strategy around maximizing innovation, growth and excellence in execution.
As we prepare to close the book on this transformative year, I'm very excited for everything that’s still to come. Venturing into 2026, you can count on Eaton to remain laser-focused on helping partners capitalize on changing trends across the rapidly evolving technology landscape and arming you with the solutions and support you need to thrive.
